As is usually the case on a Saturday morning I woke up in the guest bed at the Getty house. As soon as Johnny woke up he informed me that we we’re probably having breakfast with a friend of his and that time was an issue so I should probably shower and such immediately. I took the fastest shower I could possibly take(which sadly for me is about 20 minutes) , and off we went to pick her up.
Johnny’s friend Chynna picked the restaurant. I believe she said it was one of her favorite restaurants, but if I’m wrong I hope she’ll forgive me(same goes for me possible mispelling her name).
Normally I save myself for last but getting eggs benedict is nothing new since besides the occasional chicken fried steak it’s what I eat when I go out to breakfast. It was delicious of course, and the same can be said about the hashbrowns. Usually the hashbrowns are pretty dry and I skip them, but these had a ton of flavor and I thorougly enjoyed them
Here is Chynna’s breakfast, the sliced sourdough bread isn’t pictured. I’m not sure what you call this, but eggs and tomatos seems like a pretty good light breakfast. The reason I skip breakfast most days is because it feels heavy in my stomach, but this seems like a good solution to that.
Johnny got the most traditional breakfast out of everyone. He stirred it all together before he took the picture, but I didnt mind since it lets me photograph it how he eats it. Johnny also got biscuits and gravy which goes to show he didnt steer TOO far from his usual chicken fried steak and eggs.
I guess when it comes to breakfast Johnny and I are pretty boring.
