Wayne and I were on Melrose, and I hadn’t blogged about Italian yet so finding one literally next door to illadelph was a blessing. It’s just your basic pizza joint that probably does more take out than dine in. I fully planned to get a calzone, but was scared of how the 15 minute wait would affect my starving stomach. For the sake of hunger we volunteered to get sandwiches instead of delicious pizzas, and figured we should split the garlic cheese bread.
My Italian sausage paremesan was pretty damn good, this is my favorite italian sandwich but I rarely get it because its hard to fit in the mouth. The flavor of this sandwich was extremely impressive and I’m glad I made the call to get it at this restaraunt.

Wayne got the meatball sandwich, it was delicious, but was the same thing but in ball form instead of tube form.

the sandwiches were great but things went kind of downhill with the garlic cheese bread. The sandwiches came out way before the garlic bread, and that’s kind of…backward. Then there was the cheese… just look at the picture and you’ll understand:

The cheese on that garlic bread is simply a joke. I would definitely go to this restaurant again, but I wouldn’t get the garlic cheese bread.

Thanks for the comment! I love all your food pictures. And yes, while we post from Tupelo, neither one of us is from Northeast Mississippi. I grew up in Temecula. Anyway, thanks for checking out our blog.

My girlfriend went there for lunch the other day and enjoyed it quite a bit. I’ve also heard that the staff there secretly makes a vegan calzone for anyone who inquires. My favorite part of this restaurant–there really is a dude named Enzo there!

I REALLY want to go back to get a calzone, but I try not to go to the same restaurant twice in 2 weeks. I don’t think ill get the vegan one though because cheese is one of my favorite things.
I didn’t know there was a dude named Enzo, now I have to find him.
