Lala’s Argentine Grill

By Brandon

I just made my 2nd trip to this fun Argentine restaurant located off of Melrose. Once again Johnny and girl Alex join me for a meal, but this time we are joined by Stacy and Orville. Honestly I was in the mood for some Korean bbq but since there was now a vegetarian in our group I decided to put that off for another day, maybe next weekend.

I don’t just like Lala’s because its right next to the illadelph store, but also because I love Argentinian food. A quick look at the menu of an Argentinian restaurant restaurant will show things like: empanadas, chorizo(the good kind), sandwiches, meats, fish, and chicken. A lot of the same things you might see on the menu of a Cuban restaurant, but the 2 things I hate most are missing. I’ve said before that I hate beans and pork, but a lot of Hispanic food has beans. not having to order around that is a tremendous blessing I enjoy. Anyways, onto the food.

we sat once again on a patio, and since it had a blue cover the photos have a slight blue tint from light, oh well.

I enjoyed a chorizo sandwich. Taking one of the few sausages i like and sandwiching it with tomatoes makes me a happy man, and if you add french fries to that… bonus!

girl Alex had a picante sandwich with this tasty looking sauce on the chicken that she really seemed to enjoy. I ended up too full to enjoy it so I didnt try it.

finally comes Johnny’s dish, poor guy had to order 3 different fish before they had it. He ended up getting a mahi mahi with a dijon white wine sauce that he said was pretty good. in retrospect i wish i had got it.

Orville and Stacy were sitting too far from me and I was lazy so I don’t have good pictures of their food, sorry.

I encourage you to check it out, just look at the menu and if it doesn’t get your attention I don’t know what your problem is.
