Gra!Pow

Conveniently located down the street from my house is this delicious Thai restaraunt.

I’ve been coming here for a while now, and I’m friends with several of the employees, so I definitely have some preference for this place.

As far as Thai food is concerned I generally prefer the hole in the wall type of restaurant. Hole in the walls always have the best Pad See Aew. Gra!Pow is much trendier style of restaurant. It lies in a prime location, and is very nicely put together. I also appreciate the several cute waitresses in their employee, and I’m sure the ladies appreciate my buddy Jamie since hes a sexy dude.

I truly prefer Thai restaurants for lunch since they have all the delicious combo plates. One of the things included with lunch plates includes a nice lunch salad with those thai style krutony things.

After the delicious and light Salad I grabbed their orange chicken lunch. It’s tasty and includes white rice, an egg roll and these DELICIOUS chicken triangle things. The menu calls it a chicken slammer, but whatever most people know it as…DELICIOUS. The triangle thing is basically the reason I don’t get noodles here at lunch(my favourite thing about thai food).

Finally comes the Pad See Aew, I’m really not a fan of the chicken Pad See Aew at Gra!Pow to be honest. It’s my favorite thing at most thai restaraunts but not here; their beef on the other hand is exceptional, so I get that instead of chicken.

Gra!Pow has a huge menu, some of the other highlights that aren’t authentic thai and I didn’t get on this visit include their Tuna tar tar appetizer, and their Teriyaki Salmon dish.

I highly suggest you check them out, and ask for Tiv or Jamie as your waitress or waiter

you know how people say we eat with our eyes? The picture of the orange chicken looks good, but the pad see aew looks more bleh. Or maybe you just didn’t care for it as much so it showed in the picture. Either way, I bet you I would have liked it!
